Sustainability

Our sustainability teams provide consulting and analytical support to our global building, masterplanning and management work. The interdisciplinary team includes sustainability, low carbon and environmental modelling consultants who provide expert advice based on extensive technical knowledge and the use and development of advanced simulation software.

Working collaboratively, we develop sustainability objectives that meet and exceed expectations. This work supports the planning and delivery of environmentally friendly buildings, communities and organisations. We design high value and low impact solutions that create comfortable, productive and effective environments that are valued by the people that use them. Post occupancy commissions and academic research helps to validate and authenticate our work, revealing the economic, environmental and social benefits of our advice.

We model environmental, technical and economic forces in order to quantify performance and remove risk at the earliest stages of the design process. Simulation software and research enables us to analyse multiple design options, giving greater choice in the way that environments are designed and ensuring that we are able to offer a range of solutions to meet overall objectives.

We are at the leading edge of sustainable design for the built environment and provide expert advice on planning and policy, regulatory requirements, procurement and future-proof business solutions.

We also integrate economic and social goals within our consultation and modelling services to provide holistic solutions that meet the overall needs of businesses and stakeholders.

Argentinians have a passion for motorsport, but have not hosted a F1 event since the mid 90’s. This privately funded project would see the phased construction of a state of the art racing circuit and associated facilities in the heart of Argentina capable of hosting a FIA race. In addition to the 5.5km of FiA compliant track, the final scheme will house a training academy, driver training centre, an off-road park, two luxury hotels, serviced apartments, a conference centre, retail village, luxury clubhouse and numerous brand houses. The development is situated near the town of Zarate approximately 80km north of Buenos Aires, and will be constructed in two distinct phases. The first will see the construction of a 3.1km track and all supporting infrastructure, capable of hosting national race events with crowds of up to 30,000. Phase two will then develop the site fully with the view to becoming home to the Argentinian F1 Grand Prix.
