Meet our new partners
Sarah Sachs – US
Sarah is a principal in our New York office and has extensive international project experience, working on educational, commercial, cultural and residential projects as well as master planning and detailed energy and technology studies. Sarah has a strong track record in successfully leading large, complex multi-disciplinary projects and is passionate about developing talent in our business.
Martin Strewinski – Europe
As the director of our Berlin office, Martin is responsible for the professional development of our engineering staff, business development and key client relationships. With outstanding people and multidisciplinary leadership, Martin brings a strong focus on fostering collaboration across disciplines and winning work.
Adam Friedberg – US
Adam leads our cities team in North America and has led some of the most progressive planning efforts in the region, including the first-ever Los Angeles Countywide Sustainability Plan. Adam has a strong ability to relate clients’ business objectives to engineering, environmental, economic and planning challenges, working closely with clients to diagnose issues, plan interventions and deliver solutions.
Julian Parsley – US
Julian Parsley is a mechanical engineer and principal with 15 years of experience delivering highly sustainable, ZNE and low water design solutions on a wide range of LEED Platinum projects. He has a clear vision for his contribution to the partnership and winning work with new clients.
Christian Von Holten – US
Chris is a principal with over 20 years of mechanical engineering and extensive project management experience. He has a strong focus on creating high quality technical teams by leveraging global talent and working to create a united, diverse team that works seamlessly across geographies.
Gabe Guilliams – US
Gabe is a principal responsible for leading our specialist team of experts in lighting design, analytics, sustainability, LEED consulting, and fire and life safety engineering. He is extremely passionate about design and uses this to connect with architects and others to build deep client relationships.
Dirk Visser – Europe
Dirk founded our Rotterdam office in 2020 and has been the driving force behind the growth of the office, bringing together a diverse and multidisciplinary team of strong designers, consultants and engineers. With high technical quality and delivery focus, Dirk has a remarkable client insight enabling us to develop innovative commercial ideas with and for our clients.
James Edwards – UK
James is a director in our infrastructure consulting group, acting as project leader on multi-disciplinary and cross-geography teams for major land development and urban regeneration projects. James has a strong track record of delivering quality infrastructure projects, growing the scope substantially and cross selling our discipline, large, complex multi-disciplinary projects and is passionate about developing talent in our business.
Gareth Kirkwood – Middle East
Gareth is the managing director of our Middle East business, where he oversees the work of our teams based in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. With over twenty years of experience running design and engineering businesses in the Middle East, India and Asia, he has significant experience in business transformation whilst adapting to and leveraging the talent and opportunities within the industry.
