James Edwards

James is a Partner and the Group Director of Infrastructure in the UK and has over 20 years of experience in multidisciplinary land development and urban generation projects in the UK and Middle East.

As an experienced Chartered Engineer, James is able to use his strong knowledge to infrastructure and highway design to operate at all scales from building level through to masterplanning and infrastructure design at a city scale. 

Since joining Buro Happold in 2013 he has successfully delivered and provided technical input on a wide variety of complex projects in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar.  James current project portfolio includes The All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club Wimbledon Park Project and NEOM Oxogon masterplans.

James is a Chartered Civil Engineer of the Institution of Civil Engineers
