An associate at Buro Happold specialised in building information modelling (BIM), Laia has experience working on some of the world’s most complex multi-disciplinary engineering projects.

She is passionate about ensuring data is incorporated and analysed throughout the building lifecycle, from design and construction to operation and post-occupancy evaluation.

With the drive to net-zero carbon buildings, Laia increasingly focuses on how data gathering can help inform design decisions led by sustainability factors such as calculating and analysing embodied carbon and operational carbon emissions.
