Joining Buro Happold in 2021, David has more than 20 years’ experience of working in journalism and communications roles.
Working within our global marketing team, David specialises in copywriting across a broad range of disciplines and formats. His ability to create enthralling copy for both internal and external communications helps us to share stories of our people, projects, and achievements with stakeholders across the globe. In addition, David helps to deliver key project information for clients and his colleagues.
His career history reflects a broad range of experiences ranging from working in local government to various media outlets across the UK. In 2011 and 2013 he was named South West Feature Writer of the Year at the EDF Energy South West Media Awards.
David studied at Cardiff University for a master’s degree in Journalism Studies and at Liverpool John Moores University for a BA (Hons) degree in Literature and American Studies.
