William Lin
Associate Director, Façade Leader
William leads Buro Happold’s facade team in Hong Kong. He has extensive experience of working as a facade consultant on a wide range of commercial and residential projects across China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
In his role as facade lead in our Hong Kong office, William oversees all aspects of facade design and construction activities, from the conceptual stage through to design development, tender documentation, construction administration, and post-completion work.
William has both B.Eng and M.Eng in Architecture and Civil Engineering from the National Shinshu University, Japan and is a Member of the Institute of Engineers Australia (MIEAust, CPEng).
He also has experience of consulting on building maintenance and access system design, facade performance tests, on-site inspection and factory QA/QC inspections.
