Peter Konnerup

Joining Buro Happold in 2012, Peter is a key member of the structural engineering team in our Copenhagen office.
Peter’s understanding of a building’s architectural expression and his ability to tailor specific structural solutions for each project has allowed him to work on many complex developments around the world. His project portfolio includes a variety of cultural, commercial, and residential buildings in Scandinavia, the rest of Europe and the Middle East.
Peter has worked with world-renowned architects for both public and private clientele. He is valued for his creative and practical approach to structural engineering design.
Peter has both design and project management experience across a variety of construction sites. Whilst working with our design team in London, he gained international experience working on projects such as the King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture in Saudi Arabia and the Muttrah Fish Market in Oman, where he worked on-site. Peter also joined our Hong Kong office for a six month secondment where he helped design a large-scale aquatic complex within Ocean Park.
