Lloyd Baker

After 14 years working as an architect, Lloyd joined Buro Happold in 2015, bringing with him a well rounded knowledge of design.

As Design Manager and Project Director, he strives to deliver a professional and dependable service at all times. Lloyd enjoys the individual challenges that each project brings, developing bespoke, cohesive designs delivered by well-coordinated, integrated teams. Lloyd has in-depth knowledge of construction coordination, technical resolution on multidisciplinary projects and running design teams that use BIM as a collaborative tool.

Lloyd led our work on The Olaya Transfer Station, one of three signature stations on the new Metro Line Project that forms an integral part of the Arriyadh Strategic Public Transport Plan.

Lloyd is also involved in the delivery of the New Everton Football Stadium and a £300M higher education campus for Bristol University. As Project Director on these projects, Lloyd is responsible for over 22 different engineering disciplines provided by Buro Happold. And acts as the key interface with the client and the architect to ensure clear communication and effective coordination.
