Brooks Stout is a Principal at Buro Happold, focusing on expanding the footprint in the San Diego region.

Brooks has nearly two decades of operational experience with project procurement, project design, project management, and supervising personnel.

At Buro Happold, Brooks is responsible for the management and implementation of laboratory related engineering efforts and cleanroom design. His experience as a laboratory design Mechanical Engineer includes design of specialized cleanroom facilities and associated HVAC systems, process gas piping systems, process exhaust systems, laboratory piping systems, laboratory equipment heat load calculations, and HVAC design for laboratory ventilation systems.

Brooks has designed projects in a wide array of sectors including nanotechnology, materials characterization, engineering, biotechnology, public and private university, institutional, civic, and K-12 education.
