Buro Happold’s boutique office in San Diego builds off our award-winning Los Angeles design portfolio. With a presence in Southern California for over 15 years, Buro Happold has worked on some of the most innovative and iconic cultural, higher education, and science and technology projects across the state.

We’ve worked with most of the top universities in the United States, and projects on six campuses across the University of California (UC) system including the UC San Diego Carbon Reduction Plan and the UC San Diego Future College Living and Learning Neighborhood, currently in construction. We are also the lead engineer for the spectacular San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge Lighting project and are nearing completion of the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, our first cultural project in the San Diego region.
