Improving air quality with C40 Cities

Our sustainability experts recently hosted a three-day workshop for the C40 Cities organisation. It brought together 11 cities from around the world to understand how to share best practice on the air quality and health and financial benefits that come from urban climate action.

The intensive sessions aimed to equip city leaders with the tools, experience and expertise to be able to leave the event with the confidence to develop actionable plans and programmes when they return to their city.

We spoke with Rachel Huxley from C40 Cities and experts, including our head of sustainability Duncan Price, about the aims of the event. And heard from attendees about their key takeaways from the workshops.

Representatives from the following cities were in attendance: Chennai, Dubai, Durban, Jakarta, Chengdu, Amman, Dar er Salaam, Ho Chi Minh City, Venice, Rome, and Auckland.
