Sam Stephenson

Sam Stephenson, PE, LEED AP BD+C, is an associate principal on the Los Angeles MEP engineering team.

He specializes in executing the vision for creative architectural projects by delivering accurate and detailed engineering solutions. His experience includes a wide variety of project types for institutional and commercial clients, including aviation, civic, higher education and adaptive reuse projects.

Sam brings innovative approaches to his projects, including incorporating sustainable design approaches, CFD modeling, radiant cooling, natural and mixed-mode ventilation, and displacement systems. As well as this, he has an interest in the architectural and aesthetic performance of buildings, helping to deliver customized solutions to minimize the visual and architectural impact of the MEP/FP systems.

He is focused on delivering high-quality projects by working collaboratively with the wider design team, keeping his teams on track, and delivering projects on time to the client’s expectations.
