Michelle Christopher is an associate in Buro Happold’s Seattle sustainability team. As a mechanical engineer and energy modeler, Michelle Christopher specializes in optimizing building performance.
Through energy analysis and feasibility studies, Michelle helps influence project designs to enhance energy savings. Michelle also uses building energy simulations to estimate energy consumption over time to verify code compliance and determine required utility resources for a building or campuses.
In addition to energy modeling, Michelle has experience providing commissioning services and energy audits. Through the evaluation of building systems and operations, Michelle is able to recommend energy conservation measures to reduce reliance on utilities and ultimately reduce total project costs.
