Kostis Lysikatos
Director
Kostis is a mechanical engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the building and infrastructure consultancy industry and joined Buro Happold’s London office in 2017.
His expertise in providing efficient building systems design, with a strong focus on sustainable and energy-efficient developments helps Buro Happold to deliver complex projects with difficult environmental requirements.
In his role, Kostis leads multidisciplinary project teams from the development of the client’s brief to technical design stages and coordinating the construction process with principal contractors. His project portfolio spans the cultural, commercial, transportation and hospitality sectors which have enabled him to work on projects across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
Kostis graduated with a masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield in 2007. He is a chartered engineer, as well as a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
