Joyce Engebretsen

As a principal and Operations Director for Buro Happold in the U.S., Joyce oversees all internally focused operations for the region including human resources, resourcing, legal/risk management and systems implementation.

A licensed professional engineer, she has managed multi-office organizations and complex international projects for nearly two decades.

Prior to joining Buro Happold in 2011, Joyce specialized in managing structural solutions for blast mitigation, speaking and writing on blast design for sensitive facilities such as the San Francisco Federal Building design and the design of the U.S. Embassy Compounds in Baghdad and Beijing.
