Jim Griffiths
Director
Jim is the Director of the Acoustics & AV Group within Vanguardia and Buro Happold.
He has over 45 years’ experience in all technical aspects related to sound, acoustics, noise and vibration and has specialised in the sound management of concerts and festivals since the early 1980’s.
He also led the design of the sound and acoustics for many stadia and arenas including Tottenham Hotspur, Wembley Stadium, The London Stadium, The O2 London, Twickenham Stadium, Principality Stadium, Amex Stadium, MSG Sphere, Coca Cola Arena Dubai and many more.
Jim is a Fellow of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) and was awarded the Institutes Tyndall Medal and the Distinguished Services to the Institute award in 2023. In December 2018, he received the Outstanding Achievement Award at The Stadia and Arena Summit held at Wembley Stadium.
