Hubrecht van Ginneken

Hubrecht van Ginneken joined Buro Happold in 2021 as a partner and director based in our office in Rotterdam. He joins us with over 20 years of experience in the industry.

In his role at Buro Happold, Hubrecht is tasked with developing and growing our presence in the Netherlands and our service offering. He achieves this by fostering strong client relations, winning bids for new work and delivering high quality projects in the build environment. As part of the leadership team, Hubrecht is also taking on an organisational role, helping to structure and fine tune the organisation.

Owing to his many years in the MEP and building physics industry he possesses extensive experience in the high-tech and science sectors. This allows him to bring a different perspective to the customer’s process, focussing on people and the application of technology to support them.

Hubrecht gained his Master’s degree in electrical engineering from Delft University of Technology in 1998. He was part of the Werkgroep Programmaraad Circulariteit, set up by the Dutch Green Building Council to make circularity in the built environment measurable and transparent.
