UK BIM Lead
Des leads our BIM offer in the UK and has over 18 years experience in design and project management across all sectors of buildings and masterplanning. His particular areas of expertise in BIM technologies and how the process can streamline collaboration, deliverables and encourage innovation within the industry.
As UK BIM lead, Des is responsible for the rollout of company initiatives, training and leading the region with regards to future technologies. Des is a key member of the Buro Happold BIM network and has help create new standards documents and training programmes.
Des is a member of the ThinkBIM group in co-operation with Leeds University, he also is a member of the Manchester and Scotland Revit user groups and has attended and delivered presentations at conferences in the UK. Additionally, Des leads on BIM in all major projects undertaken across the practice.
