Ben Harvey

Ben is a Chartered Urban Planner with over 15 years of experience. Based in our London office he joined Buro Happold in 2021.

At Buro Happold, Ben leads urban planning inputs to projects generally for governmental bodies and is often funded by institutions such as the World Bank. His expertise includes regional and city strategies and plans, urban expansion, regeneration of existing areas and infrastructure provision.

Ben’s career portfolio includes a broad range of public, private and voluntary roles. across countries including the UK, Zambia, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Angola and the UAE.

His recent projects include a regional framework for a new city in Saudi Arabia. Ben has also coordinated a liveability and tourism strategy for a growing industrial town in the UAE and a major conservation-led project also in the Middle East.
