Stephen Curtis is a principal and regional discipline leader for Buro Happold ’s New York structures team, where he is responsible for the day to day management and reporting of progress for the team. 

With two decades of experience, Stephen has worked on a variety of projects regionally as well as globally across industry sectors including higher education, cultural, civic and urban design.

He has led the delivery of the structural design and construction administration on a number of complex projects including the Arizona State University Beus Center for Law & Society and the Yale School of Management in New Haven, CT. He is currently leading Buro Happold’s multi-disciplinary teams on Harvard’s cutting edge Science and Engineering Complex in Boston, MA and the state of the art New Academic Building for the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Having led the structural design for many successful projects, Stephen understands how to integrate client needs with an architect’s vision.
