Senior People Movement Consultant
Renata is a Senior People Flow Consultant with a keen interest in delivering people centred design of buildings and urban spaces. She uses advanced modelling of people movements and processes to optimise spatial layouts and operational strategies for major sports, cultural, transport, retail, commercial and urban venues.
Renata joined BuroHappold’s Smart Space Team in 2015 after 10 years of experience in Architectural Design and Project Management in Brazil, in a variety of programs, including stadia, schools, train stations, residential and commercial high rise buildings.
Renata completed a Master’s degree in Real Estate focusing on BIM (Building Information Modelling) and its implications in Design Management and Coordination, as well as to the entire project cycle. She brings her experience in design and planning to the team aiming to achieve improved design solutions regarding people circulation.
Her people flow consultancy experience covers several high profile projects including Bristol Arena, The High Line New York, London Stratford Waterfront Public Realm, International Quarter London, St. Giles Circus London, Sao Paulo Line 6 Metro and AlBayt Stadium in Qatar. Renata is keen to engage with clients and stakeholders to understand key issues and concerns to inform and develop the crowd flow analyses.
As an Architect with a deep understanding of design, operations and human response, Renata’s work helps to deliver efficient, responsive and vibrant spaces optimised to client needs.
