Phillip Barnett

Phillip leads the Asset Consultancy team at Buro Happold’s Bath office; a multi-disciplinary team of engineering consultants and surveyors with significant expertise across a variety of sectors.

He is an Associate Director and Chartered Building Surveyor, with over fifteen years’ experience in asset, property and facilities management.

Joining Buro Happold in 2007, Phillip has been involved in a large number of building engineering services and schemes in both the public and private sectors, with particular emphasis on cultural and heritage projects. His specialist areas include: building pathology and technical due diligence, maintenance planning, asset condition assessment and contract and programme management.

Phillip has a practical and collaborative approach to problem-solving, focusing on developing holistic and strategic solutions for clients. He is passionate about building strong relationships that align built assets to organisational goals in order to maximise efficiency and optimise return on investment.
