Peter has worked on Environmental Impact Assessments, site appraisals, scoping and screening reports, and assessments for a range of projects and has helped integrate design principles into projects to ensure that the impact on air quality is minimised, taking into account the specific requirements of cities around the world.
He is an advanced user of atmospheric dispersion modelling software along with being a proficient user of integrated Geographical Information Systems (GIS) packages, which can be effectively used to display environmental and air quality data.
Peter is an environmental consultant with a specialism in air quality consultancy and research. After graduating with a Masters degree in Environmental Management from Royal Holloway University of London he joined BuroHappold and has worked on and helped manage a number of residential, industrial, mixed-use and transport based projects both in the UK and internationally.
He is particularly interested in the impact of poor air quality in urban areas, and how this impacts upon peoples daily lives, as well as the wider implications on public health and the economy.
