Henry is an engineer and economist with 16 years of infrastructure and economic development experience. He specialises in business case evaluation, technical risk management, and contract negotiation.

He joined Buro Happold from Connected Places Catapult, where he led the impact assessment team helping city officials and regulators understand how infrastructure and innovation can catalyse growth and achieve their economic strategies. He also spent seven years at Arup and has led more than 25 due diligence engagements. Including several international urban redevelopment projects.

Besides economic consulting, Henry has five years of hands-on construction management experience of US$100m+ projects, including the modernisation of the historic National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC (built in 1836) and the rebuilding of the Pentagon after the September 11 attack.

Henry’s professional focus is integrating engineering, management, and financial knowledge to help projects overcome technical, financial, and commercial challenges. He has published articles on international P3 practice, knowledge transfer, and theoretical and practical aspects of P3 implementation and is a frequent speaker in industry and academic conferences.
