Gideon Susman is a Senior Engineer on the Los Angeles offices MEP Engineering team. His responsibilities include design and project team leadership, building and systems modeling, and engagement with clients, architects, planners, and stakeholders. He has extensive experience with projects involving a combination of sustainable strategy development and design for all built environment scales, environmental accreditation, environmental regulation compliance, government funded research and product development.
Gideon is active in the creation and management of collaborative research studies with universities. He has successfully supervised over 10 Masters research projects and two Engineering Doctorates on Novel retrofit technologies incorporating silica aerogel for lower energy buildings and Post-Occupancy Evaluation of Decentralized Energy Systems. Gideon regularly contributes to industry and academic forums.
