Daryl Prasad

Daryl is an Associate Director, specialising in acoustics. He leads the UK Audio-Visual team; a specialist group of interdisciplinary experts who have a passion for delivering ‘cutting edge’ projects. 

With over 20 years’ experience delivering acoustic, electro-acoustic and audio-visual projects across the globe, Daryl is well placed to provide expert advice on the latest sound and technology advancements. Passionate about architecture, he focuses on delivering ‘buildings for people’. Daryl is enthusiastic about delivering practical, flexible, cutting edge designs, that not only work for their intended design, but allow for an evolution of uses over time.

Daryl has a wealth of knowledge in the performing arts, sports and cultural sectors. Since 2010, he has been involved in live music and performance consulting, specialising in sounds systems and the overall sound management.

As part of his master’s degree, Daryl researched outdoor sound propagation of noise from petrochemical activities. He also investigated novel ways of undertaking sound insulation measurements using digital signal processing with maximum length sequences. Daryl has published papers with the Acoustical Society of America as well as presenting papers with the Institute of Acoustics and Association of Noise Consultants.

Daryl has been influential in the development of our in-house modelling and calculation tools that enable us to streamline and deliver our projects in the digital domain.
