Bill Wilson
Associate Director
Bill is an associate director with over 10 years of experience in infrastructure and energy systems.
Bill has been working with the energy group leading a variety of masterplanning projects, energy utilisation strategies, energy planning statements, campus net zero strategies and district energy feasibility studies. He has worked on all stages of design, from concept through to construction, on a wide range of projects in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
His portfolio includes leading feasibility studies and detailed project development stages for heat network projects with Local Authorities, including Kingston, Renfrewshire, Hackney, Redbridge and Lambeth Councils.
In addition, Bill has recently been acting as technical lead for the Programme Delivery Unit for the Greater London Authority’s (GLA) Local Energy Accelerator. As well as project management of the overall programme and providing strategic support to the GLA, he has provided technical support directly to multiple beneficiaries (including universities, NHS and Local Authorities) to help accelerate energy projects (ranging from solar, retrofit, heat, local area energy plans, flexibility) across London.
Bill holds a CEng in Civil Engineering and is a chartered member of the Energy Institute.
