Ariella Maron leads strategic consulting services for energy management, climate action and sustainability planning in the US and is a Principal for BuroHappold’s Cities group in the United States. An authority on sustainable strategies and the energy sector, she previously served as the Deputy Director of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Long Term Planning and Sustainability and the NYC Deputy Commission of Energy Management.
Her current work includes the 80×50 Action Plans, which involves working across different sectors (energy, waste, and transportation) to reduce carbon emissions in New York City by 80% by the year 2050, and the New York Power Authoritys (NYPA) Five Cities Energy Master Plans, which involves the development of comprehensive energy master plans for five of the largest cities in New York State.
A leader in the industry, Ariella was also selected for ENR’s Top 20 Under 40 for her achievements both professionally and personally.
