BuroHappold Engineering CEO, Roger Nickells, appeared on BBC Business Live this morning to discuss the role of the company on the international stage.
The interview centred around the challenges faced by many cities in terms of developing infrastructure to support a growing population. Roger spoke on the importance of building ‘resilience’ into city planning, and highlighted the practice’s Resilience Insight Tool, which was developed in-house to help cities assess their resilience against 120 potential threats – including climate-based events.
Roger also touched on our work on the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station, along with other large scale, iconic projects that BuroHappold has been involved with around the world.
