Leeds office relocates to sustainable urban quarter

As of 10 June, Buro Happold has relocated our Leeds office from Brewery Place to Wellington Place.

This step forward represents a commitment to growth in the region, where the consultancy has played a pivotal role in transformative construction projects such as Trinity Shopping Centre and the Royal Armouries Museum. As well as current projects such as The Majestic, an iconic building in the centre of Leeds.

The move to these Grade A commercial premises coincides with Buro Happold celebrating 30 years in Leeds.

“When it came to selecting a location for our new office, Wellington Place was an obvious choice,” says Mark Phillip, Leeds Office Director and Partner. “Employee welfare has always been of the upmost importance to our business as we strive to create the best possible working environment for our engineering and specialist consultants in Leeds – something which is front and centre at Wellington Place.”

“This is the ideal location for helping our business expand in one of the country’s most dynamic cities.”
Mark Phillip, Leeds Office Director and Partner

A highly successful urban regeneration development in the heart of the city, Wellington Place provides our people with superb amenities including gyms, free cycle hire and healthy food outlets. Buro Happold’s new home – 3 Wellington Place – is a modern, aspirational building set among landscaped public spaces.  Designed with energy efficiency in mind, it has achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating.

“Wellington Place offers access to sustainable transport, a high-quality office environment and a vibrant community,” adds Mark Phillip. “This is the ideal location for helping our business expand in one of the country’s most dynamic cities.”
