Challenging Conventional Thinking: Net Zero, Where do we go next?

Buildings, both constructing them and operating them, are the biggest carbon dioxide emitters

Our industry recognizes that, and most of us have signed up to carbon reduction goals. But we know that the challenge is formidable and that there are no readymade answers or solutions. With big advances being made on how we can reduce operational carbon emissions, the focus is shifting to embodied carbon, the carbon dioxide emissions associated with the production of building materials and components.

We have invited an expert panel to explore what the strategies we need to develop to achieve a meaningful change looking at materials, design solutions, policy requirements and how we as an industry can work together to achieve the targets we have set ourselves

Join Buro Happold and industry colleagues to challenge conventional thinking.
