Industrial placements
With a number of specialist teams here at Buro Happold offering Industrial Placements, you’ll be working on real life projects, learning, and making a big difference to some exceptional engineering projects around the world.
Applications for our Industrial Placements are being made available on an ad-hoc basis, please continue to check our current vacancies page. These are available to current university students on a course including a year in industry as part of their degree.
Summer placements / Internships
We offer a variety of opportunities for students currently at university. They provide great insight into the working world and a springboard into a future career at Buro Happold. Apprenticeship scheme (UK)
Our apprenticeship opportunities are available across a range of disciplines and support services roles. From structural engineering to finance, environmental consulting to building services engineering we have a wide range of roles across our UK offices.
Work experience (UK)
Our one week structured programme for those studying towards GCSE and A levels will introduce young, aspiring students to our commercial environment – exposing them to all aspects, from engineering design projects to finance and marketing.
Work experience is co-ordinated by our Young Engineers Forum and run over specific weeks in the summer.
