NCE ranks Buro Happold in top 10 engineering firms

Buro Happold is honoured to receive two accolades at this year’s NCE100 Awards ceremony.

Last night, leading lights from the engineering world gathered together in London for the annual NCE100 Awards. This prestigious event celebrates the most innovative, impactful and inspirational firms operating in civil engineering today.

Buro Happold was extremely proud to receive two accolades at this year’s event. Winning the Impact on Climate Resilience category was great recognition of our work in the environmental sector, and our ability to deliver real impact and advances in this vital area. This commitment is clearly evident through our recent work on the C40 Cities report, which unites 96 global cities in the common goal to build a healthier world.

An exciting and ambitious programme setting a global vision, demonstrating how a strategic approach can be translated to local applications.

The NCE100 2019 judges

The judges went on to say that our winning entry will have significant positive impact on people and communities, enabling them to be better engaged and to develop and deliver mitigation and future-proofing actions in an integrated way. The scientific evidence base enables targeted cost-efficient investment across a range of interdependent. Being scalable allows for solutions to be delivered quicker. A very good submission contributing to creating functional, energy efficient, low carbon, climate-resilient cities.

Our NCE100 2019 winners are the most innovative, impactful and inspirational companies operating in the infrastructure sector today.

We were also delighted to rank within the Top 10 Companies in the engineering sector. This was a particular honour as we were judged not only by a panel of the industry’s leading clients and stakeholders, but also by our own employees. Knowing that our people enjoy life at Buro Happold is perhaps the greatest victory of the night!
