Zelimir Anic

Zelimir is a Technical Director with over 25 years of structural engineering experience.

Zelimir joined the practice in 2005 and works as a technical director in our Middle East region, having previously been responsible for both the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia offices.

Zelimir has worked on a variety of single and multidisciplinary projects across a number of sectors, throughout the Middle East region and across the globe, including Azerbaijan, India and Hong Kong. He spent the first five years of his career working in the former Yugoslavia, followed by four years in Libya, eleven years in Canada and over nine years in United Arab Emirates, where he worked for large corporations, contractors and speciality niche consultants. He holds professional licences in UK and British Columbia, Canada.

Zelimir’s diverse portfolio has enabled him to develop a creative and pragmatic approach to engineering. His forensic capabilities allow him to provide solutions on projects affected by unforeseen events, such as structural collapse, fire, leakage, corrosion and failure to perform as intended.

His service offer extends to advice on repurposing and upgrade and the restoration and retrofit of existing properties. Zelimir’s client relationships include asset owners, developers, contractors, consultants, government organizations and building authorities.
