Sports & Entertainment

Buro Happold works on creating the most innovative, exciting and memorable sports and entertainment venues in the world. We use our multi-disciplinary design skills to deliver successful projects for fans, athletes, artists and clients alike, balancing the rich and varied needs of each user to create bespoke solutions that are truly unique.

These projects include the new Emirates Stadium for Arsenal FC and the O2 Arena, in the UK, the new Lansdowne Road Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, and the Astana Stadium in Kazakhstan, amongst many many others. They have all been heralded as triumphs of design, function and commercial success and were created through Buro Happold’s expertise in delivering functional yet sustainable buildings that lead to the best possible and inclusive spectator, user and client experience.

We consider everything in our work; from the eye catching initial view as you approach from afar, the ease of access and safety of use when you arrive, the function of spaces to ensure comfort in use, the layout of seating to ensure you get great views in an electric atmosphere, all of course wrapped in a building that has been designed and constructed efficiently and safely, with care, from minimal materials, to specifically suit the local conditions and environment.

Come and see for yourself. We are genuinely proud of our unrivalled portfolio of sport and leisure facilities that host prestigious world-class sporting and cultural events.
