1 / Introduction

Located in the centre of Warsaw the Saski Crescent is an A class office building, comprising of ten storeys with around 15,000 sqm of office space and 1,700 car parking space on two underground levels.

Our engineers employed slab and pole structures in the project. This was particularly effective on the three highest levels where the building cascades and withdraws away from the other levels. This specific shape required reconciliation and appreciation skills for the needs of structural, mechanical and architectural designs.

The use of glass façades combined with the light-framed structure enables unobstructed access to light in the building’s interiors creating a comfortable, inviting and bright space for the office tenants.
Through collaborative approach to the project and close cooperation of the structural and mechanical designers our solution not only complied with the technical requirements but also allowed us to preserve the buildings aesthetic qualities.

By combining interesting architecture, convenient location and functionality, the Saski Crescent received the Construction and Investment Journal Award for the Best Office Development in 2003.
