Tommaso joined the Facade Engineering team in 2016.  Previously, he worked at Newtecnic Ltd, London, for almost two years, focusing on facade optimisation and accounting for daylight, visual and thermal comfort, energy efficiency and acoustic performance of the proposed solutions. Before moving to London, he worked in Paris, in an international architectural firm, Laps Architecture, as building technology specialist.

Tommaso has an MSc degree in Building Engineering and Architecture, Politecnico of Milan, and he is a Civil and Environmental chartered engineer in Italy since 2015.

Within the London facade design and engineering team, he works to deliver energy efficient envelopes complying with client requirements, architect’s intellectual and spatial concepts, stringent energy requirements and contractor’s methods of construction.

Tommaso has a keen interest in complex geometry engineering including facade materials, 3D detail modelling, building physics and structural analysis using digital parametric tools.

Tommaso has worked on a wide mix of new and existing projects ranging from a mixture of residential, high rise, commercial developments to cultural, civic and public use projects in the UK, Middle East, and North Africa.
