Zoe’s strength is her ability to provide a comprehensive design management service to take any airport project from its initial masterplanning and forecasting phases, through passenger terminal design or expansion, baggage handling systems and air traffic control centres, to its internal transport links and car parks, offices and retail areas.

She has the global experience and knowledge and understands both the complex demands and commercial realities of the air transport sector.

Her career has focused on the airport sector, including the definition and application of design standards, and the provision of design management services in relation to tender bids for diverse projects. She adds value through early collaboration with suppliers and promoting early value engineering assessments of design solutions; empowering suppliers to add value through modifications to reduce risk and costs through manufacture, delivery, installation, construction and final product quality and durability.

She can provide a guardian role for project work in pre-construction to ensure quality and that a coherent solution is retained.

Zoe has 15 years experience as a Designer and Project manager for complex buildings. Recently joining Buro Happold in January 2010, adding her developed analytical, problem-solving skills combined with strong client interpersonal skills to the existing project management team. Zoe brings a wealth of experience from a diverse range of projects in the aviation, retail, public, residential sectors ranging from large buildings developments through to small refurbishment projects.

Zoe’s particular focus is on the enhancement of client brief definition not only at the outset of a project but throughout the design delivery process to add value enabling timely decision making and design development solutions that fulfil the brief requirements. Conducting design reviews to ensure compliance with brief, coordinated design, quality balanced with cost and program. Strategic master-planning abilities enable Zoe to lead the development of a strategic design solution from concept to construction completion.
