Yin is based in Buro Happold's Hong Kong office and leads the business development, business strategies, marketing, commercial development, market intelligent, client relationship management and other business related areas for the Asia Pacific region.

Yin has extensive experience working in the international market with Chinese clients including: Government, large international organisations, professional institutions and universities. Using his in-depth knowledge on intelligent building technologies and markets, Yin has actively promoted energy efficiency buildings, building intelligences, energy efficient systems, low carbon build environment/communities, sustainable buildings and environment/communities.

Key areas include: renewable energy, waste to energy, eco-city standards and requirements and sustainable building design. Yin has project experience in the UK, Hong Kong and China; to bring the best international technologies and ideas, integrated with the Chinese local conditions and requirement to seek the best solutions for the built environment, in order to find the best solution to achieve the national intention for low carbon society.
