Richard Cameron

Richard studied at Aberdeen’s Grays School of Art & Design, where he graduated with an honours degree in 3-Dimensional Design. He has always had a strong passion for lighting design, product design, interior design and architecture and believes that lighting, both in it’s natural and artificial form, is a crucial element in influencing, shaping and enhancing the built environment.

With 15 years of professional industry experience, Richard has worked for several specialist lighting design practices and consultancies and has built up an international portfolio of high profile, award winning, internal and external lighting projects which have covered a wide range of design sectors including the retail & leisure industry, commercial developments, residential developments, sports venues, art galleries & museums and landmark buildings.

Richard is a Buro Happold Associate and the Studio Leader for the Happold Lighting London team.
