Pam Penkman

Company Secretary

Based in Bath, Pam Penkman is Company Secretary to most of the consultancy’s companies, both in the UK and globally.

Following an initial career in the City and several years working in Germany, Iran and Oman, Pam joined Buro Happold in 1996, working first as the Practice Administrator - a wide ranging role which included recruitment during a major period of growth for the practice when the number of staff nearly doubled in the space of two years.

Pam took up the role of Company Secretary in 2001.  Her main responsibilities are the operation of the Happold group’s main governing bodies, partnership and international company administration, legal issues and insurances, across the group.  Major projects have included the development and implementation of the latest corporate governance model and the conversion of the traditional BH Partnership to Happold LLP. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators and a member of the ACE’s Insurance Liaison Group.
