Neil joined Buro Happold in 1987, three years after graduating from University College Cardiff with first class honours in structural engineering. He has worked in a number of locations and positions for Buro Happold, including managing our Riyadh design office, before returning to London as an associate and then progressing to Regional Managing Director with responsibility for the Bath region.
His ability to expand our business and his talented leadership skills were recognised in 2000 when he was appointed as a Partner, following which he became a member of Buro Happold's global executive board. Neil's work encompasses the aviation and commercial sectors both in the UK and internationally as well as his strong interest in holistic low energy design. Neil’s passion for taking a multidisciplinary approach to work, believing in the value that can be obtained through the collaboration and interaction between individual skills and disciplines has proved popular with clients, who realise the many benefits this brings to their projects.
Neil is a Chartered Engineer, a fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers and Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
