Kevin Grant

With more than 18 years’ professional experience, gained around the world, Kevin leads our specialist lighting group and has been with Buro Happold since 2006. His distinctive approach to work and passion for working with light has enabled strong relationships with many leading architects such as Foster + Partners, Henning Larsen Architects, Renzo Piano Building Workshop, and Snohetta.

He has an exemplary record of project delivery, including a number of high profile and award winning projects across a diverse range of sectors. Kevin is a very capable, creative and technical designer, who prefers to have an active role in design. He relishes in challenging projects, developing technically robust concepts and exploring these with our clients, design teams and creative partners.

Kevin is a professional lighting consultant and Chartered Engineer. He is a professional member of the International Association of Lighting Designers, the Institute of Lighting Professionals, and the Society of Light and Lighting. He has written articles for national and international press and speaks at conferences and seminars on many aspects of designing with light
