David Littler

David is the Group Director of the Building Services and Sustainable Engineering group in the Hong Kong office. He has a broad range of knowledge and experience which crosses the traditional building services discipline boundaries, and covers all the mechanical, electrical and public health aspects of design.

He has worked on a wide range of project types, from student accommodation to theatres, in both the public and private domain. He has been fortunate to work on projects with other design team members who value engineering input at an early stage, and as a result has often been able to influence the form and fabric of a proposed building to improve the design. This is particuarly the case with low energy design projects.

He has also worked on high quality spaces, from private residences to art galleries and libraries, where the services have been carefully integrated to a detailed level, so as to be largely unseen so that the aesthetic is not compromised.
