Mark Crowther

Mark joined Buro Happold in 2010 and leads the Environmental Assessment and Management team in the UK.

In his role, he supports his team with a variety of services for projects across the UK and overseas. This includes Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Project Management, EIA peer reviews and Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA).

At a project level, Mark has led multidisciplinary environmental and engineering teams on a number of urban regeneration, entertainment, industrial and tall building projects. These include a number of significant urban regeneration projects in the UK, predominantly in London and in the North-West of England.

Mark has and continues to actively work directly for local and competent authorities, particularly in London, as a trusted advisor on EIA technical matters.   This includes advising them in regard to compliance with the EIA regulations, in an EIA peer review capacity.

Mark is a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) with the UK Society for the Environment and a Full Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (MIEMA).
