Anthony leads the Sustainability and Physics Group in his role as Director, and relishes the challenge of guiding and developing the group while leading and supporting teams to integrate sustainable design philosophies and engineering strategies for a wide range of clients and projects.
Having worked in multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy for fifteen years, Anthony has a huge depth of experience globally, throughout the project lifecycle, from strategic consultancy for organisations, through to masterplanning regions and new cities, and the design, delivery and management of sustainable buildings, across all sectors and markets.
Anthony is both technically rigorous and open to new ideas, and his curation of projects has led to many being recognised with industry best practice and sustainability awards.
Core to Anthony’s work is a desire to do the right thing, and his caring attitude has led to a particular expertise in design which meets both the needs of people and the planet we rely on. Anthony strives to develop a richer understanding of not only our impact on the environment, but also of our environments impact on us. This is done with an aspiration to better advise clients and create designs that not only minimise resource consumption and enhance the environment for future generations, but also enable positive and productive experiences for users.
Throughout his career Anthony has developed particular expertise in building services and environmental engineering, site-wide sustainable, energy and utilities masterplanning, low carbon building design techniques and the application of dynamic computer modelling analysis to optimise incorporation of passive design features and minimise energy consumption and carbon emissions. He also has detailed experience of undertaking environmental assessments such as BREEAM, LEED and Estidama and developing bespoke sustainability strategies and frameworks for clients on specific projects or across a clients portfolio of assets.
Anthony currently sits on the UKGBC health, wellbeing and productivity task group.
