What if we asked 'what if?'

Sometimes, most times, all it takes is to ask the right question.

“Does it have to be a box?”, “Will this fit on the site?”, “What if…?”

Over the decades there have been many theories on how to come up with, to foster, innovative design solutions.

We would welcome a tried and tested way to crack a brief – but the truth is there isn’t one and never should anyone say otherwise.

That’s why we begin with asking the difficult but obvious, to us at least, questions.

It’s how we’ve come to be involved in so many extraordinary projects. For this approach attracts the sorts of challenges that need this kind of approach applied to them. Equally this approach attracts the sorts of clients and collaborators that appreciate and enjoy the challenge that comes with asking these sorts of questions.

From the Millennium Dome and the O2 to Wadi Hanifah and AlFaisaliah; from Kahn Shatyr to the QE2 roof at the British Museum we have always had the courage to ask ‘What If…’ but more than that we have the expertise, knowledge and experience to find the optimum solutions as a result.
