The German exhibition, ‘Post Oil City’, contains a wealth of information on current, complex questions and possible answers to a wide range of urban planning and environmental issues. The designs and approaches range from those of the late renowned American architect, inventor and philosopher, Buckminster Fuller, to current plans such as the much-discussed Masdar project. The exhibition presents, amongst others, three Buro Happold projects: City and Energy incubator for a former airport in Berlin, the High Line in New York and Xeritown in China.

After successfully touring Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the English version of the exhibition premiered in Tokyo at the end of last year. Currently the exhibition is on its way to India for a tour through seven cities (Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore). The intention is to produce four more editions of the exhibition in English, German, Spanish and Brazilian to be shown in Southeast Europe, Africa and South America.
