Buro Happold, working in partnership with Philips Lighting, PWBMEDIA and Colliers International, has founded a professional marketing group (CMG) focused on the promotion of sustainable marketing in construction and real estate.
Over 30 professionals from marketing, business development and communications in the construction and real estate sector met at the Warsaw headquarters of Philips Lightening to officially launch CMG to the market. Commencing with an overview of the CMG and its founders, PwC then delivered a presentation discussing the Sustainable Vision 2050 for Poland followed by an effective networking session for the group’s members.
The group’s mission is to raise the profile of the marketing profession within the construction industry through the creation of a members’ forum that will enable continuous professional development, networking and the exchange of knowledge, information and best practice.
Activities for 2013 will focus on:
- The organisation of regular strategic marketing workshops and networking sessions
- The preparation of a green building report in cooperation with the World Green Building Council
- National government lobbying initiatives
- Working with PwC on the Vision 2050 for Poland which aims to make sustainability the main focus for the built environment
Buro Happold’s Kasia Chwalbińska-Kusek, a founder member of CMG, said “We want to form a professional group of key marketing and business development decision makers from the construction and commercial property market; our aim is to promote the strategic role marketing can play in making sustainability the main focus of the built environment. We are supported by the World Green Building Council and key sector media.”
The CMG welcomes new members. For further information please contact Kasia.
