Happold Consulting International has been commissioned by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the Environmental Defence Fund to look at organisational alternatives to ensure that New York City's sustainability agenda is maintained beyond the end of the Bloomberg administration in 2013.
Senior Consultant Kate Ascher is heading up the project which will look at these alternative options and will be making recommendations shortly to a series of environmental stakeholders in the city. Options range from the creation of a new civic organisation to an informal or formal alliance of stakeholders committed to supporting a programme of specific sustainability initiatives.
Happold Consulting International has a long standing track record of delivering innovative sustainability solutions within the built environment and is currently working with the variety of clients including the World Bank and the City of Detroit.
